THE CYCLING EVENT OF THE YEAR.
Welcome to the Cycling Event of the Year and Fort Wayne's
own NASCAR on two wheels!
The 4th Annual Parkview Cycling Festival will take place on
Sunday, July 1, 2012. Due to the demand, organizers will
continue to schedule two separate races for beginning
racers. The event will also return with more racing for kids
as well as a Bike Rodeo.
In 2009, 200 racers and more than 4000 spectators helped
to make the inaugural Parkview Cycling Festival one of the
largest bicycle races in the Midwest. Eight states were
represented in the races, including Alabama, Virginia and
New York. Many were impressed by the facilities available
to racers, citing the abundance of parking, nice restrooms
and a special lounge for participants.
The Parkview Cycling Festival is part of the Lance
Armstrong Junior Race Series. It returns in 2012 with 8
races sanctioned by USA Cycling.
The event, organized by Fort Wayne's Men of Steel Racing
Club, is free to the public.
