While cyclists battle it out on the streets in downtown Fort Wayne, four
fabulous bands will entertain the crowd inside Parkview Field.
"We are very fortunate to have some awesome bands in our area," says
Jim Kruse, competitive cyclist and co-founder of the Parkview Cycling
Festival.  "Thanks to the Downtown Improvement District, the public will
get a chance to enjoy a day of great music at a great facility for free!"


The DID Concert Schedule

Brother - 2pm-3:30pm
Brother has built a reputation as one of the most vocally versatile bands
in Indiana.  In 2008, they won the Best Rock Cover Band at the Whatzup
Whammy Awards Show.  This summer, Brother will open for Twisted
Sister at Headwaters Park on July 18th and Molly Hatchet on August 8th
at the Foellinger Theatre.

Teays Vein - 4pm-5pm
Teays Vein is a four-piece modern rock band based out of Fort Wayne
and performs across the Midwest.  Their live show is full of high energy
that appeals to audiences of all ages.  Their single “Long Way” caught
the ear of more than 300 radio stations garnering the band attention
from the College Music Journal.  They will be releasing their third album,
“Hollywood” this summer on Surreal Records.

Lee Miles & The Illegitimate Sons - 5:30pm-6:30pm
Lee Miles & The Illegitimate Sons is a collection of local musicians from
various groups.  The band plays music reminiscent of Bob Dylan, Neil
Young, The Band and Johnny Cash.  The band recently released a 5
song EP entitled “A Farewell To Sister Evelyn.”

Todd Harrold Band - 7pm-8pm
The Todd Harrold Band has won the Whatzup Magazine’s Whammy
Award for Best Jazz Artist for three years in a row.  Todd has shared the
stage with the Doobie Brothers, KC and the Sunshine Band, and just
recently opened for the Derek Trucks Band at the Embassy Theatre
Lee Miles performing Catch a Snare.
